From the cedar-scented lanes of Fes to the rose-pink ramparts of Marrakech — an intimate crossing of Morocco's mountains, kasbahs and golden dunes, entirely at your own pace.
This isn't a bus ticking off sights. It's six days in a private, air-conditioned vehicle with your own driver-guide — through cedar forests and Berber villages, over the Middle and High Atlas, and out into the amber silence of the Sahara. You'll sleep in handpicked riads and one luxury desert camp, ride a camel into the dunes for sunset, and arrive in Marrakech having actually seen the country in between.
Your driver meets you at Fes Airport for a comfortable private transfer to Riad Fes Mahal, tucked in the heart of the city. Settle in and enjoy your first evening among the medina's rooftops.
A free morning to wander the labyrinth of Fes el Bali at your own rhythm — tanneries, souks, centuries-old madrasas. After lunch, drive south through the pine-covered Middle Atlas to Midelt, checking in at Hotel Bollajoul as evening falls.
Wind further south with scenic stops along the way, reaching Merzouga by afternoon. Trade your vehicle for a camel and ride out across the Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets fire to the sand. The night is spent under stars at Sahara Happy Camp, a luxury desert camp.
Head to Rissani, once the capital of the Tafilalt region, to visit the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and browse a market famed for spices, dates, and livestock. Continue through dramatic desert landscapes into the Dades Valley, settling in at Riad Ksar Sultan.
Pause in the Valley of Roses to see local rose-based cosmetics before reaching Ouarzazate, Morocco's "Hollywood." Explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, then cross the High Atlas via the legendary Tizi n'Tichka Pass, with a stop at an argan oil cooperative before arriving in Marrakech and checking in at Riad Romana.
Take a final breakfast at your riad before a private transfer to Marrakech Airport for your onward flight — six days of Morocco behind you, and a few new stories to tell.
"Touring all over Morocco was wonderful — a great guide, very kind, and it truly felt personal from start to finish."
